The UK: Through the Lens

I know in my post below I wrote the final weeks my Easter break, and thus to avoid being disingenuous, here are a few shots from travels with my awesome parents. We had a brilliant time here in the UK, and although the ash cloud delayed things a tad, it also meant some bonus days together in Oxford. Below are photos from Cumbria (the northwest of England, just below Scotland), some "henge" in Wiltshire (just southwest of Oxfordshire, and west of London), as well as Cornwall (far southwest). Lovely how a tour of the country can orient oneself.

February, March, April, October...
Lake District, Cumbria

Almost Scotland.
Lake District.

Right after taking this photo, I fell asleep.
Lake District.

Thankfully, that dumptruck just dropped off new stones from the Preseli Mountains. These ones were falling over.
Stonehenge at sunrise, Wiltshire.

Narrowness.
St. Ives, Cornwall.
Rooftops.
St. Ives, Cornwall.

Reflecting ocean, modernizing art.
Tate St. Ives Museum.

Citing Peter: "This better not be the rain forest in 20 years."
Eden Project, Cornwall.

About to eat the apple...

Somewhere, a very big farm is sponsored by Krylon.

Cheers all!
